I Heart Al Gore
Like Shakespeare's Sister, I adore Gore! It is so refreshing to hear a Democrat actually speak the plain and simple truth. To call BushCo on the carpet just makes me happy.
From the former Veep today:
When asked how the United States would have been different if he had become president, though, he had harsh criticism for Bush's policies.
"We would not have invaded a country that didn't attack us," he said, referring to Iraq. "We would not have taken money from the working families and given it to the most wealthy families."
"We would not be trying to control and intimidate the news media. We would not be routinely torturing people," Gore said. "We would be a different country."
We wouldn't tell reporters how to report the news? Hey, what ould be left for us bloggers to do? Jokes, people, jokes! We would help the poor, damn no wonder the republibrats hate us.

Don't you wish he had been this free and easy five years ago? I had always liked what he had to say the first time he ran for president. Someone asked him if he had ever smoked pot and he essentially said, 'yes - in college - get over it.'
No one ever bothered the man again. He seems like that now - loose, comfortable - it's easier to see his intelligence and humor. Give me more!

Exactly what money was "taken from working families and given to the wealthiest families?"
Can someone help me out?
