Celebration Ale
Right after Barry Bonds hit the 756 tonight, it was crazy. A lot of people left and even more seemed to forget that there was a game down on the field. There were tee shirts with I was there and lots of crap for sale.
I did buy a beer to celebrate the fact that this circus is over. Great, now we can concentrate on our losing season.

There wasn't anything suspicious in the beer, was there?

LOL, no! I was more excited to see Hank Aaron on the big board.

That surprised me a lot. He had just recently said that his not being there was a statement and then there he is on the board. One has to wonder what went on behind the scenes. It's funny; I can remember exactly where I was when Aaron broke the record and who I was with. That was a big deal. I still can't figure out where my mood is on this, though I hope Barry's rookie cards go up to the highest price possible, since I have 150 of them in mint condition! :-)

Yes, thank God the circus is over. There were 43,000+ fans to see the game, er, event last night. After the home run, the stadium emptied out to about 20,000. Let's see what tonight's attendance will be! Let's see who the true baseball fans in town really are.

Hopefully, you didn't get caught in the scrum to catch the ball. And yesterday, Bonds knocked another into the cove and nary a peep about it....business as usual...
