Hillary Hopes on Her, Her and Her

Chick Channel aka Lifetime Network sponsored a poll and finds that Hillary is drawing more women to be interested in the Presidential election. Now, that is a startling revelation. We finally have some real relevance in the discussion whether we support her or not.

Survey of more than 1,000 women  holds some of these results:

  • - 2/3 said they would vote for Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, and the remaining third would vote against her.
  • - 7% said they would not vote for any female presidential candidate.
  • - Of those polled, 23% said they were paying more attention to the election in November 2008, because a woman is among the major candidates.
  • - 77% were not yet committed to any candidate, but 82% said they were definitely or probably voting in the election.
  • - According to 39% of the women, this election is more important than previous ones, the poll showed.

This is interesting since Hillary has finally remembered that she is a woman and should try to help a sister out. She unveiled a plan on Monday in New Hampshire that calls for states to have a paid family leave plan and would free up monies to help achieve these goals. It is refreshing to see her use her motherhood as it immediately gives her something in common with thousands of others and crosses party lines.

Hillary is not my candidate of choice, but not for the zany reasons that are mentioned here by Tom.

Funny how when a male candidate runs on nothing but chest-thumping testosterone, he only has the best interests of the nation at heart, but here, it's an unfair usage of gender. Of course, these things are never actually said. I know I'd think more of her as a candidate if she pulled the "yeah, I AM a woman and I AM a mother, so I know about this shit better than you fucks, so fuck off!" Though she should probably clean that up a bit for network TV. And I should probably stop fantasizing about a world where asshole-ery isn't rewarded.

Hillary is such an ambiguous president candidate. First she votes against ethanol then she changes her mind and decides to support it in her energy plan. In the last debate, she contradicted herself in different subjects, which is obvious in this video that compares her many contradictions at the same day: http://www.weshow.com/us/p/22225/the_politics_of_parsing_by_hillary_clinton
You guys that have watched the debate or this video that shows just some of her obvious contradictions should agree with me that we just can't vote for a so clearly pathetic candidate.

Randal, I agree. She and other women office holders should tell the white men to shut it, especially about children and motherhood among other things.

I don't like Hillary - she voted for the war. That is the only reason I don't want to vote for her. If she did not show strength back then to stand up for what is right and unpopular, why would I trust her to do anything right as president?

Hillary did not vote for the war; she authorized the use of force based on the assumption that it would not be used without exhausting all other options. It was a mistake, but she still has my support.
