CA Supreme Court Lets Freedom Ring

Good news, good news, good news!!!

The California Supreme Court has struck down the gay marriage ban. I will post more details when I have them.

This is the best news that I have heard in a long time! After all, we should all be allowed to have the same rights that are administered by our government.

Right wing freaks, you can suck it!!!! I am sure that you already have some disgusting ballot measure prepared for the November ballot and I look forward to fighting it.

Awesome, indeed, my friend! I may be happier than some of my LGBT friends.

Indeed they do, more than a million signatures have been gathered to amend the state constitution to read that marriage is only between a man and a woman who are not related. The initiative will appear on the November ballot, but the Governor, to his everlasting credit, stood firmly on the side of justice and equality and stated he supports the decision and will not support any effort to change the constitution.

Now it’s time for that same Court to return the rights of the 4000 couples who had their marriages illegally annulled in 2004. To do less would be the same as the Court admitting that it was wrong without accepting any responsibility for the consequences of their actions.

All over Jesusland, people are looking out their windows in fear - fear that gay marriage will now destroy their very existence. How cool is that!?

It is awesome news -- I've got a couple of posts on it. I still haven't found a definitive answer to my question of whether or not my SF marriage license can now be valid and retrieved. I hear different things from different sources.

Man, I'm ready to go ruin several dozen het marriages that really outta just throw in the towel! Imagine, I'm so very powerful that the mere fact I have a wife puts another marriage at risk. Shudder.
