Foo Fights McLame

One of my favorite bands, the Foo Fighters have asked John McLame to stop using their song, "My Hero." Here is the quote:

"The saddest thing about this is that `My Hero' was written as a celebration of the common man and his extraordinary potential," the band said in a statement. "To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song."

I could not have said it better myself. This is not the first band to make a request of the Republicans.

Bah. All these chumps are just jealous of the rock and roll chops of McPOW.

First Jackson Browne, then Heart, now this...seems no self-respecting musician wants McCain anywhere near their work. Which is why they're stuck with Hank Williams, Jr.
