Don Knotts, RIP

Knotts2Don Knotts passed away yesterday at the age of 81. His comedic brilliance will be missed. He was best known for his roles of Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show and as the buffoon apartment manager on Three's Company, Mr. Furley.

He was known for his acting, self-deprecating wit and to be a solid guy who came from humble beginnings in a small town in West Virginia. A lot of people do not realize that he was also a big parting of the writing team for AGS. Check out IMDb for more.

All I know is that a part of my childhood is gone which is just further evidence that I am an adult and that nothing stays the same -- as it should be.

Good night, Mr. Furley.

I was always a huge Mr. Limpet fan, myself.
