Mad for March

If you know me, then you know how much I love March Madness. I take a lot of time to fill out my bracket every year. You should also know that I have won many an office pool. This year, Davidson is my Cinderella story team and I have them making it to the Elite Eight.

My pick to win it all? Kansas Jayhawks!

Rudy Just Can't Get Enough

Rudy Giuliani is floating the idea that he will run in a Special Election for NY Governor should Governor Paterson resign amidst all of his current revelations.

One problematic man for another? Oy.

Inside Voices, Please!

JUST SO YOU KNOW: EVERYONE AROUND YOU
IS BEING FORCED TO LISTEN TO YOUR CONVERSATION. (shhhhcards, I am putting them up in all cubes)

Damn, I hate cubical environments just for this reason. I don't care or want to know about your cat and his hairballs nor that Billy doesn't want to do his homework or that your wife wants to know if she can charge new shoes for the kids to the shared credit card. I really don't want to hear you call the advise nurse to tick off a litany of your disgusting symptoms.

Thanks, I feel better now!

Boycott Beijing

http://en.epochtimes.com/news_images/2007-12-12-reporters-78382887_low-res.jpg
Please join me in boycotting the Beijing Olympics. I also plan on protesting China's treatment of Darfur when the Olympic torch comes to San Francisco on April 9. Please join in, if you can.

4000

This number did not pass me without notice. It infuriates me to my very core. The cavalier attitude coming from the White House makes me even more angry, so angry that I cannot see straight. Thanks to those brave men and women who have given up their lives for this pointless show of testosterone.

Another Not So Innocent Obama Backer

Gordon Fischer, a former chair of the Iowa Democratic Party and part of Obama's Iowa support team, also compared Bill Clinton unfavorably to Joe McCarthy.

McCarthy was a senator who was known for leveling accusations that people were Communists or spying for the Russians in the 1950s.

"When Joe McCarthy questioned others' patriotism, McCarthy (1) actually believed, at least aparently (sic), the questions were genuine, and (2) he did so in order to build up, not tear down, his own party, the GOP," Fischer, wrote on his blog.

"Bill Clinton cannot possibly seriously believe Obama is not a patriot, and cannot possibly be said to be helping -- instead he is hurting -- his own party. B. Clinton should never be forgiven. Period. This is a stain on his legacy, much worse, much deeper, than the one on Monica's blue dress." CNN

Wow, this is really low. I didn't think that Bill Clinton was running for office. Would Bill's comments be so scrutinized if he had not been the President?

Happy Wariversary

It has not gone unnoticed by some that I had yet to post about the Iraq war today. I wanted to think about what I wanted to write, I am still so angry about this war that my words seem stuck, but this is just a sliver of how I feel.

Shock -- we went there and are still there, our young are dying
Awe -- that the crooks in charge lied to us about why, that some Americans still think this okay

Obama Dropping Like the Stock Market

Obama drops about 14 points in the newest poll. In worse news, McLame continues to poll well. (Reuters)

McLame, are people serious? Ugh. Is it too much to hope that people will do some actual research and think for themselves? Oh wait, this is America. Forget that I asked.
